WINEGROWING
The vineyards are located in the preferred southern locations and are the bases for our wine production.

Thereof 60 % are considered as "classified locations,"which according to expert opinion are superior for winegrowing. 
With stringent quality winegrowing and production these wines reach the level of "Erstes Gewächs" (Superior Wine)
Taking care of the envronment in the vineyards is our first priority.

Cutting the vines is done the way that 1 arc
has only 7 buds per square meter.
This is reducing the quantity but increasing the quality.

If necessary the grapes will be reduced and the leaves cleared around the grape area  to get healthy and ripe grapes.

This is the main target of quality winegrowing.
Long experience, high standard knowhow and modern cellar technologies allow us the best possible wineproduction.

White wines ferment after one thorough clearing treatment slowly under cooling in stainless  steel tanks. This guarantees that the wanted aroma and part of the fermentation  carbonic acid is preserved.

In preparing red wines we emphasize the use of the traditional mash fermentation, ripening in wooden barrels and the following biological acid reduction.
Sure instinct is necessary to produce so called "Lovely wines". In keeping the natural sweetness (Fructose), and with the help of slow and cooled fermentation we achieve outstanding  elegant wines with bouquett and aroma.
These wines are exceptional.
